I’ve been building software for 15+ years. These days that’s mostly native Android and iOS apps, plus Flutter and Kotlin Multiplatform when a project needs one codebase across platforms. I work across the full stack too, from web front ends to the backends behind them, plus the DevOps, observability and cloud operations that keep it all running.
Right now I’m building Receiptally, a receipt-digitization app for Android and iOS. It pulls data out of paper and PDF receipts using a mix of on-device AI (ML Kit on Android, Apple’s on-device models on iOS) and cloud vision models, so it keeps working offline.
I also build open source tools for the gaps I keep running into, like a Flutter package that enforces Certificate Transparency through the platform’s own network stack. Another is @Copyable, a Swift macro that generates Kotlin-like copy() functions for annotated structs at compile time, offering an elegant, expressive way to clone immutable objects and assign new values to their properties.
